As a Claims Adjuster, you’ll play a key role in delivering a seamless, empathetic, and fair experience to customers during what can often be a stressful time, filing a claim. You’ll serve as a trusted expert within the claims team, handling complex and high-impact claims while mentoring junior adjusters.
Requirements
- Manage the full claims lifecycle for complex or escalated cases across multiple lines of business (auto, property, travel, etc.).
- Interpret and apply policy language to ensure accurate and equitable claim outcomes.
- Conduct inbound and outbound communications, including phone calls, texts, and emails, to provide updates, gather details, and support customers throughout their claim.
- Communicate professionally and empathetically by phone and in writing with external partners, carriers, and third-party claims teams to ensure coordinated, timely resolutions.
- Review and validate supporting documentation, such as estimates, invoices, and third-party reports.
- Identify and escalate potential fraud concerns, working with internal or partner teams as needed.
- Lead peer quality reviews and provide mentorship to junior claims representatives.
- Report claims trends and recommends process or product improvements.
