Job Description
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to lead technical architecture and modernization of the Business Resource Integration Dashboard for Government Efficiency (BRIDGE) initiative. The role involves driving a transformation of legacy systems into an AI-enabled platform, enhancing data-driven decision-making across DHS's Management Directorate. The ideal candidate will have expertise in enterprise systems, cloud architectures, and federal compliance.
Requirements
- Design and implement technical architecture for BRIDGE, integrating disparate systems.
- Lead modernization of legacy systems to cloud-native platforms.
- Develop robust ETL pipelines, APIs, and microservices for real-time data aggregation.
- Ensure systems comply with NIST SP 800-53, FISMA, FedRAMP, FIPS 140-2, and DHS Directive 4300A.
- Lead cross-functional teams in Agile development.
- Establish engineering best practices for CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and DevSecOps.
