Project Application Engineer (EE25032)

The Project Application Engineer (EE25032) role at Industrial Systems/Project Application and Hardware Engineering within a global company seeks someone to define project system requirements and develop system specifications for industrial systems projects. This includes ensuring systems meet client needs, conducting studies, managing costs, and providing technical guidance to clients and suppliers. The position also involves collaboration with OEMs and client contacts and identifying new applications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering with control automation, mechatronics, computer engineering or related field
• 2 years' related work experience in specifying, designing, commissioning, or maintaining industrial drive, automation, and control systems
• Demonstrated knowledge in one or more areas of industrial VFDs, motors, transformers, switchgears, sensors
• Demonstrated knowledge of industry standards such as NEC, IEC, IEEE
• Demonstrated negotiation skills
• Demonstrated successful working relationship with clients, suppliers, and other internal/external contacts
• Demonstrated successful personal leadership, interpersonal, organizational, administrative, and communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, and Visio
• Availability to travel domestically and internationally, approximately 15%
• 5 years' related experience
