Senior Embedded Software Engineer, Orb

We are looking for a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join our team at Tools for Humanity. In this role, you will work on the toughest challenges in the Device Software organization, including biometric image capture, advanced anti-fraud checks, and secure backend communication. You will be responsible for setting the bar for excellence in the Device Software team and influencing other software engineers in the organization.

Requirements

• 6+ years experience in systems programming, robotics, IoT devices, or related fields
• Exceptional coding skills shipping code to high volume production devices
• Extensive experience using Rust in real-world applications or strong C/C++ background
• Familiarity with GNU/Linux and device trees.
• Experience building security-critical applications.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.
