Job Description
Torex Gold is seeking a General Supervisor for Metalurgia to coordinate daily, weekly, and monthly activities, optimizing process and reagent consumption, while maintaining safety, quality, and budget standards. The role involves leading a team and implementing improvements in production processes. They are currently the largest gold producer in Mexico with plans for future diversification.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Chemistry, Mineral Processing or its equivalent
- 8+ years experience in gold and copper process plants (Floating, Detoxification, Lixiviation)
- 3+ years experience as a team leader with focus on quality, production, safety, and environmental regulation
- Experience implementing root cause analysis and problem-solving
- Experience in scaling and implementing projects
- Experience in developing work teams
- Knowledge of statistical analysis tools
- Knowledge of standards, safety, and cyanide handling
- Desirable intermediate English skills
