Job Description
The Assistant/Associate Dean of Students for Touro University's New York School of Career and Applied Studies (NYSCAS) will lead student development, promote student engagement, and oversee student services and programs. This role involves liaison with student associations, faculty, staff, and students, investigating grievances, and administering university policies. The position will be based in New York, NY.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Higher Education Administration, Student Affairs, Counseling, or a related field; a Doctorate preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in student affairs or related areas.
- Demonstrated experience in leadership, staff supervision, and budget management.
- Experience in crisis management and student support services.
- Knowledge/Skills/Abilities in interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution, customer service, and organizational skills.
