Faculty Adjunct Special Education Generalist Grades 7 - 12 (Online, Long Island, Brooklyn, Staten Island, Manhattan, Queens)

The Adjunct Instructor will teach graduate course sections (on campus and online) in child/adolescent development, assessment, and special education. The role involves advising master’s degree candidates, participating in collaborative learning, and upholding the values of Touro College and the Graduate School of Education. Tuition reimbursement may be offered.

Requirements

• Masters Degree required
• Current certification in Special Education
• Successful classroom teaching experience (7-12 grades)
• Successful graduate-level teaching experience
• Successful leadership experience
• Knowledge of NYSED teacher certification examinations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Proficiency in online learning platforms
