Job Description
We are looking for an Analyst to deliver high-quality spatial analysis and mapping that will inform and influence TfL's most important strategic projects. You'll work with platforms such as ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online and QGIS, alongside data science tools and TfL's bespoke analytical applications, producing clear, engaging outputs for a range of audiences.
Requirements
- Strong experience with GIS software (ArcGIS, QGIS) and web‐based GIS for complex spatial analysis.
- Knowledge of ArcGIS Online (AGOL) and/or ArcGIS Enterprise.
- Familiarity with tools such as Python, R or Power BI, and experience applying statistical methods to real‐world problems.
- Strong communication skills — able to translate technical results into compelling visuals and clear messages for diverse audiences.
- Adaptability in analytical approaches and outputs to suit different stakeholder needs.
- Degree in GIS, Geography or related discipline (with a GIS component), or equivalent professional experience.
- Knowledge of key spatial datasets relevant to London.
