Job Description
We are looking for people with big ideas and a passion for planning to help shape the future of London. As an Area Planner, you will work across a number of London boroughs to get the best outcomes for TfL from a wide range of development proposals.
Requirements
- Degree in relevant discipline, membership of relevant professional body (e.g. RTPI, TPS, CIHT) or equivalent experience
- Understanding of the property development process
- Understanding of planning and transport legislation in London, local government, and funding mechanisms (e.g. S106/CIL)
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Able to provide effective technical planning advice to non-technical people
