Tribalco has an immediate opening for a Network Administrator Intermediate to join our team. This position works within a cohesive team environment supporting a large Government client with multiple locations and is responsible for maintaining industry and government IT compliance standards via scheduled deployments; managing and maintaining system patches; configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting network routers, switches and encryption devices in a predominately Cisco environment.
Requirements
- Manage network performance and maintain network security.
- Design, analyze, plan, modify, and maintain networks and network components supporting data, voice and/or audio communication activities.
- Prepare analysis of short/long term capacity needs for switching, routing transmission, and signaling.
- Conduct network architecture design, feasibility, and cost studies as well as internal studies of network performance and traffic analysis.
- Evaluate new technology.
- Conduct testing of network systems.
- Maintain technical expertise in all areas of network and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing, such as routers, switchers, firewalls, hubs, bridges, gateways, etc.
- Establish and implement network policies, procedures, and standards and ensures their conformance with information systems and company’s objectives.
- Frequent use and application of technical standards, principles, theories, concepts, and techniques.
- Receive assignments in the form of objectives and establish goals to meet outlined objectives.
