Job Description
We are seeking a talented and motivated Paralegal to join our growing Consumer Financial Services litigation practice group. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and at least 8 years of experience as a litigation paralegal.
Requirements
- Conduct research in online legal resource platforms
- Analyze and summarize legal sources
- Conduct research and run reports in PACER and other online court platforms
- Work with litigation e-discovery and case management databases
- Assist with deposition preparation
- Organize and maintain large matter files
- Collect, organize, and Bates stamp documents for production
- Review and analyze documents in large document productions
- Assist with trial preparation
- Retrieve public records from online resources or directly from government institutions
- Summarize depositions or other legal documents
- Draft and prepare legal documents appropriate to practice area
- Perform paralegal duties and responsibilities as directed by group leader and other attorneys
- Maintain the firm's official matter file utilizing the document management system
- Track and record client-billable time and non-billable hours
