Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and creative Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of progressive litigation experience and a bachelor's degree. The role involves conducting research, analyzing legal sources, and coordinating case management from intake through resolution.
Requirements
- Conduct research in online legal resource platforms
- Analyze and summarize legal sources
- Coordinate case management from intake through resolution
- Work with litigation e-discovery and case management databases
- Assist with deposition preparation
- Organize and maintain large matter files
- Collect, organize, and Bates stamp documents
- Coordinate large-scale document productions or multi-jurisdictional filings
- Assist with trial preparation
- Retrieve public records from online resources or directly from government institutions
- Summarize depositions or other legal documents
- Draft and prepare legal documents
- Fact/cite check large briefs
- Utilize electronic court systems
- Perform paralegal duties and responsibilities
- Maintain the firm's official matter file
- Track and record client-billable time and non-billable hours
