Trustpilot is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a team of engineers focused on growing and evolving our consumer-focused offering. The successful candidate will have experience leading multiple engineering teams and a strong technical background, including knowledge of Full-Stack service/microservice Development and cloud services.
Requirements
- Several years of experience as a Software Engineer before transitioning into the leadership track
- A history of effectively scaling and leading multiple engineering teams
- Knowledge of Full-Stack service/microservice Development
- Familiarity with cloud services (e.g. AWS), message queues (e.g. SQS) and Database formats (e.g. DynamoDB), modern frontend technologies (e.g. React, Vue.js) and developing SaaS products
- Exposure to or experience with App development (iOS, Android and cross-platform frameworks)
- Comprehensive knowledge of Agile methodologies
- Experience delivering scalable systems that solve complex technical challenges at scale
- Extensive stakeholder management experience with a focus on working across multiple functions/domains and the ability to create alignment across diverse teams
- Experience mentoring and helping engineers grow their technical skills
- A commitment to contribute to the future of Trustpilot, and the ability to make crucial technical decisions, in a pragmatic way
- A customer-centric and solution-oriented mindset with a bias towards action
- The ability to communicate complex problems easily to a diverse group of stakeholders
