The Applications Engineer will provide technical expertise and customer support for the company's portfolio of potentiometers, trimmers, rheostats, and rotary position encoders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
- Background in electromechanical sensors or precision resistive components
- Hands-on experience with electrical and mechanical testing of resistive and encoder devices
- Proficiency in tools such as CAD (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and basic circuit simulation (e.g., SPICE, LTspice)
- Understanding of environmental and reliability testing (e.g., temperature cycling, vibration, lifespan)
- 2-5 years of experience in applications, design, or product engineering related to potentiometers, trimmers, rheostats, or rotary encoders
- Understanding of resistive materials, signal conditioning circuits, and electromechanical interface design
- Familiarity with analog circuits, voltage dividers, and sensor calibration
- Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset
