Demand Planner

We are seeking a Demand Planner to develop accurate demand forecasts and collaborate with multiple departments to align business processes and strategies. The ideal candidate will have a blend of analytical expertise and business acumen to ensure that production capabilities meet or exceed demand forecasts.

Requirements

• Develop and maintain detailed schedules to meet operational demands
• Raise sales orders and upload into MRP after contract review
• Facilitate problem resolutions with stakeholders
• Collaborate with department heads and team members to gather scheduling needs and prioritise tasks
• Monitor and adjust schedules as necessary
• Analyse scheduling data to identify trends and inefficiencies
• Prepare and present forecast and inventory metrics to the Operations team
• Utilise scheduling software and tools to streamline the scheduling process
• Provide timely updates and reports on scheduling status
• Assist in training new team members on scheduling processes and tools
• Serve as the point of contact for scheduling-related inquiries
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the scheduling process
