Maintain stock areas, including stocking parts, sorting and preparing orders, pulling, stocking, kitting and labeling parts, and taking to designated areas.
Requirements
- Find stock locations, part availability, and perform “where used” inquiries
- Stock incoming parts from receiving
- Perform cycle counting
- Complete short fills for production floor
- Complete computer transactions for moving kits production floor
- Set up stock locations, change stock location in computer for new or existing parts
- Create labels for new parts
- Maintain inventory of parts
- Sample counts with inventory auditors
- Disposition of non-conforming or obsolete material
- Purge parts from stockroom
- Resolve routine inventory adjustments
- Locate and utilize Stockroom Work Instructions
- Identify different component types and polarity markings
- Follow requirements for 1st pc audits
- Perform 1st pc. inspections for kitting
- Use proper material handling, kitting and stocking techniques, including First-In-First-Out (FIFO)
- Use proper procedures for “Limited Shelf Life” materials and handling
- Pull parts from stockroom and overflow locations based on pick list
