Job Description
This is a contract Data Engineer position for remote work in India, focused on designing and implementing core data analytic platforms, ETL pipelines, and data warehouse implementations. The role involves building and maintaining data pipelines, ensuring adherence to best practices, and providing support to developers and analysts. Proficiency in Python, Java, and AWS/Azure is essential.
Requirements
- Design and implement core data analytic platform components.
- Review approaches and completed data pipelines against platform best practices.
- Maintain and design common data flow pipeline data transformation activities (ETL).
- Support and troubleshoot data flow activities on cloud data warehouse environments.
- Develop data pipeline code using Python, Java, AWS Lambda and/or Azure Data Factory.
- Perform requirements planning, monitoring, and end-to-end requirements management.
- Manage code using a version control system (Git/GitHub or Bitbucket).
