Job Description
Bowhead is seeking a Deckhand to support Naval Vessels in Andros Island, Bahamas. The position is for 5 days a week, 50 hours per week, including a 10% travel allowance. The role requires full-time relocation to the island, with NAVY-covered lodging and travel. Deckhand will assist with shipboard operations, including docking/undocking, rigging, cargo handling, and boat operation.
Requirements
- Must be a U.S citizen
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S government security clearance
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
- Must be able to travel over 10% with less than 10 hours drive time
