Job Description
Bowhead is seeking a Telecommunications Mechanic II to provide Base Telecom Support at the Puget Sound area. This role involves operating and maintaining government-owned telephony switches, troubleshooting issues, software updates, and ensuring system compliance with DoD/Navy standards. The position requires secure, classified, and unclassified voice and data services.
Requirements
- Operate and maintain government-owned telephony switches (PBX)
- Troubleshoot and repair switch issues
- Install and configure switch hardware
- Utilize company vehicle for weekly travel
- Ensure switch systems remain fully operational and compliant with DoD/Navy standards
- Support voicemail systems and IPE
