Test Engineer II

Ultra Maritime is seeking highly motivated and skilled Test Engineers to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test equipment to support the production of complex defense systems.

Requirements

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test equipment
• Develop and maintain automated test software using National Instruments LabVIEW and related tools
• Develop and maintain test frameworks using Java
• Review test specifications for completeness and accuracy
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to test equipment, software, and test methodologies
• Analyze test data and production yields to identify trends, root causes of failures, and areas for improvement
• Recommend and implement improvements to existing test equipment and processes to increase efficiency, accuracy, and throughput
• Collaborate with design, development, and manufacturing teams to ensure testability and quality throughout the product lifecycle
• Participate in product design reviews and provide input on “Design for Test” and “Design for Manufacturing”
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, military specifications, and quality assurance procedures
