Job Description
The University of Maine at Fort Kent is seeking an Assistant/Associate Professor or Instructor for Conservation Law Enforcement. This tenure-track role offers an opportunity to shape the next generation of law enforcement professionals, focusing on experiential education and practical skills in areas like environmental law and criminal justice. The position involves teaching diverse courses in a hybrid format and contributing to curriculum development within a supportive, faculty-centered environment.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in a closely related field with experience in conservation law enforcement.
- Ph.D. in a closely related field with experience in conservation law enforcement (or similar).
- Proven ability to teach in a post-secondary or law enforcement academy setting.
- Deep knowledge of criminal law procedures.
- Exceptional communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to provide experience in internships and capstone projects.
- Service and contribution to university and community.
