Job Description
The Justice Studies program at the University of Maine at Augusta invites applications for an Assistant Professor position starting in September 2026. The program is looking for candidates able to teach a variety of law-related undergraduate courses in the Legal Studies/pre-law area, with a preference for candidates also able to teach Criminal Justice-related courses.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor degree
- PhD in a closely related field will be considered if the candidate has significant knowledge of law
- Experience teaching at the undergraduate or graduate level
- Experience with online teaching or learning
