Heavy Equipment Field Mechanic

United Ag & Turf is seeking an Independent Heavy Equipment Field Mechanic to perform on-site diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on customer agricultural, commercial, and turf equipment. Responsibilities include performing repairs, inventory management, mentoring, and documentation. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical, electrical and hydraulic skills and be proficient in using machines and equipment.

Requirements

• Perform diagnostics and repairs on John Deere equipment and technology.
• Perform diagnostics and repairs in the field as required.
• Maintain accurate inventory of parts on service vehicle.
• Mentors Service Technician and Apprentice Technicians.
• Operates and maintains vehicles, tools and equipment required to perform job responsibilities.
• Maintains a clean work area and performs work in a neat and orderly fashion.
• Follows all safety rules and regulations.
