Job Description
We are a veterinary practice looking for a registered nurse with enthusiasm for small animals to join our practice in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be in charge of all the activities related to veterinary nursing within the clinic area and the main helping hand of the veterinary team.
Requirements
- Assist the veterinary team and physiotherapist as required before, during and after the consultations.
- Leadership of nurses under his/her control.
- Customer services during the clinic consultations.
- Anesthetic nursing during surgeries (including induction and recovery).
- Surgical nursing.
- Admission and discharge of patients.
- Medical nursing.
- Catheter placement, blood draws, basic laboratory analysis...
- Radiology.
- Monitoring of the patients as required when they are hospitalized.
- Monitoring and checkup of the boarded pets as needed.
- Working closely with all colleagues and nurture a culture of collaboration and teamwork.
- Assist the management in protocols implementation when needed.
