Univar Solutions is seeking a Product Coordinator to join their Supplier & Product Management team in Widnes. The role is temporary for up to 12 months and requires excellent rapport building skills, commercial and technical knowledge, and experience with data manipulation and numbers.
Requirements
- Act on own initiative and demonstrate a proactive approach
- Maintain effective supplier relationships and product information
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure prices and terms
- Control selling prices to maximise gross margins
- Work closely with EPMs and sales teams to maximise opportunities
- Set up and monitor selling schedules for products
- Liaise with stock controllers to decide forecasts and stock levels
- Deal with aged stock and implement changes to drive continuous improvement
