Research Technician

The Research Technician provides technical support activities related to scientific research projects, ensuring compliance with institutional, state, and federal regulatory policies. Assists in drafting presentations on research findings and provides technical and administrative support for a research project.

Requirements

• Managing lab ordering and lab organization
• Overseeing rodent colonies for two labs
• Monitoring rodent health and husbandry
• Immunohistochemistry and microscopy
• Collecting and entering data
• Assisting in analyzing data
• Assisting with preparation of reports, manuscripts and other documents
• Installing, setting up, and performing experiments
• Interacting with students and other laboratory staff under the direction of the principal investigator
