Job Description
The Senior Director of Academic Affairs provides strategic administrative leadership for academic affairs in the Biological Sciences Division (BSD) at the University of Chicago. This role oversees the administrative team, establishes strategies for aligning faculty policies and processes with the University's and BSD's strategic visions, and advises on interpreting University policies and developing Division policies.
Requirements
- 7+ years of work experience in a related job discipline
- College or university degree in a related field
- Graduate degree strongly preferred
- Experience working in academic medicine
- Faculty affairs/academic affairs or with faculty in a legal or human resources capacity
