Lecturer II / Teaching Assistant Professor - Secondary Education

The University of Nevada, Reno invites applications for a non-tenure track, Lecturer II / Teaching Assistant Professor position in secondary education in the Secondary Education program to begin August 1, 2026. The position provides leadership opportunities in coordinating field-based experiences for secondary teacher education students and providing daily support for the successful operation of the teacher preparation program.

Requirements

• Master's degree in secondary education, curriculum and instruction, or related field from an accredited program by August 2026
• Hold a current Nevada teaching license in secondary education or be license-eligible in the State of Nevada
• Three to five years of secondary education teaching experience within the last five years (preferred)
