Job Description
University of Utah Health is seeking a skilled and compassionate Maintenance Engineer I to perform carpentry, mechanical, and electrical work. The role involves performing repairs, installing systems, testing equipment, and completing after-hours on-call rotations. The position contributes to enhancing patient and staff well-being through research and education.
Requirements
- Three (3) years of hands-on building related maintenance and repair experience
- Experience in pipefitting, HVACR, steam-operated systems, pneumatic and electronic building control systems, plumbing, commercial laundry equipment, or similar areas
- At least one (1) of the accepted certifications or licensures
- Valid State of Utah Driver's License (preferred)
