This position is responsible for performing radiographic procedures involving the application of ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis.

Requirements

• Performs radiographic procedures.
• Critiques images to maintain quality control.
• Maintains the necessary precautions to prevent excessive exposure to radiation.
• Reports equipment malfunctions to appropriate personnel.
• Prepares, cleans and stocks rooms with supplies and linens.
• Performs limited radiological exams based on guidelines set by the Department of Radiology.
• May assist in orienting new employees or students regarding functions of the department.
• May participate on department and hospital committees, and provide in-service training to hospital staff.
