Free People Designer -Denim

Free People is seeking a Denim Designer to support the design process, from concept to production. The role involves collaborating with the design team, conducting trend research, contributing to design concepts, and managing technical sketches and BOMs. It's an exciting opportunity for a passionate designer in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Apparel Design (preferred)
• 5+ years of experience in Denim, Woven or related apparel design (preferred)
• Strong understanding of fashion trends
• Excellent technical and CAD skills in Procreate, Photoshop, Illustrator
• Fabric/Wash knowledge of denim
• Ability to sew and pattern (if needed)
• Knowledge of garment construction
• Strong organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft platforms
• Upbeat, positive attitude
