Job Description
Free People is seeking a Designer of Skirts. The role involves concepting, designing, and managing a monthly collection, sketching, and sewing original ideas, and assisting with technical aspects. The ideal candidate will have strong design skills, communication skills, and experience with Procreate and PhotoShop.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design
- 5+ Years Industry experience
- Strong understanding of the Free People customer
- Excellent communication skills
- Previous experience or knowledge of apparel construction
- Knowledge of fabric treatments and manufacturing techniques
- Ability to hand sketch and communicate design ideas via Procreate and PhotoShop
- On-site presence in Philadelphia, PA for 3-5 days per week
