Job Description
USAM DC is seeking a Custom Millwork Engineer to work closely with the Engineering Manager and other teams to manage tasks such as producing production-ready drawings for the shop floor. The Custom Millwork Engineer will also communicate with production and project management teams to ensure deadlines are met.
Requirements
- Carries out duties assigned by the Engineering Manager
- Communicates with Production and Project Management
- Works closely with the Operations and Engineering teams
- Maintains an understanding of all the materials and hardware used
- Utilizes AutoCAD and Microvellum to prepare drawings
- Reviews sub-contractor drawings for submittals
- Ability to correctly perform material take-offs
- Helps team members with questions and issues
