Job Description
USAM DC is seeking a Custom Millwork Engineer to work closely with the Engineering Manager, other Engineers, Project Managers, Shop Production Manager, and shop fabricators to produce production ready drawings for the shop floor. The Custom Millwork Engineer will be responsible for communicating with production and project management, following up with team members on meeting deadlines, and resolving conflicts with the Operations and Engineering teams.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Min 5 years' experience architectural drafting/engineering
- Able to read and interpret architectural drawings/blueprints
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including intermediate Excel skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent problem solving and conflict resolution skills
- Experience with millwork production methods and fabrication techniques
