TSC Kitchen/Junction Prep Cook

The TSC Kitchen/Junction Prep Cook position is responsible for general food service prep work in the Junction or TSC (Marketplace & Catering) Kitchen. The job involves preparing food items, peeling onions and carrots, washing and cutting fruits and vegetables, cutting and trimming meats, cooking meats, sauces, starches, and vegetables, and keeping the work station clean and sanitized.

Requirements

• Ability to follow oral and written instructions
• Food Handler's Permit is required within the first 30 days of employment
• Knowledge of the care and use of food service equipment and kitchen utensils
• Knowledge of health hazards in food preparation, service and necessary precautionary measures
