RN Clinical Unit Coordinator - Med Surg

UVA Health Northern VA & Culpeper is seeking a full-time Clinical Unit Coordinator to provide coordination of direct and indirect patient care within the hospital. This role involves ensuring effective patient care, implementing quality improvements, and supporting various aspects of the hospital's operations, including patient flow, staffing, and regulatory readiness. The Coordinator will act as a mentor and provide valuable assistance to staff.

Requirements

• Completion of a nursing program approved by the State Board of Nursing.
• Registered Nurse with current licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
• 2 years of experience in acute care setting or specialized unit preferred.
• Ability to perform basic nursing skills on groups of patients.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize quickly.
• Ability to administer medication utilizing the five rights.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in written form.
• Basic computer knowledge.
