Senior Tax Manager

Valsoft is seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Manager to oversee Canadian and U.S. tax compliance, manage tax provision work, and support M&A tax matters. The role reports to the Head of Finance and requires a strong understanding of U.S. and international tax, as well as collaboration with various teams. This is an in-office position based in downtown Toronto.

Requirements

• Professional CPA/CA designation
• 4+ years of post designation tax experience
• Strong technical knowledge of Canadian & U.S. corporate taxation
• Experience managing tax compliance and provision processes
• Familiarity with M&A tax due diligence, tax structuring, and cross-border tax planning
• Strong research, analytical, and organizational skills
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to work independently and balance multiple priorities
