Job Description
Varda is seeking a Senior 5-Axis CNC Programmer to join their Manufacturing Team. This role involves machining complex, flight-critical aerospace components on advanced 5-axis mills, working with cutting-edge equipment, and collaborating closely with engineers in a fast-paced, prototyping-driven environment. The position offers autonomy, ownership of machining processes, and hands-on experience in a highly regulated setting.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience programming and operating 5-axis vertical machining centers (e.g., Haas UMC-1000/750, DMG MORI DMU).
- Proficiency in Mastercam for 3+2 and full simultaneous 5-axis toolpaths, simulation, and verification.
- Deep understanding of G-code/M-code and advanced CNC program editing.
- Experience machining exotic materials and applying GD&T principles.
- U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residency (ITAR compliance).
