Job Description
Varda is a startup focused on accelerating the development of commercial space infrastructure. They are seeking a Senior 5-Axis CNC Programmer to join their Manufacturing Team, operating a prototype environment. The role involves precision machining of aerospace components, optimization of CAM programming, process ownership, and collaboration with engineering teams. Requirements
- 5+ years of experience programming and operating 5-axis vertical machining centers
- Proficiency in Mastercam (3+2 and full simultaneous 5-axis toolpaths)
- Deep understanding of G-code/M-code and advanced CNC program editing
- Experience machining exotic materials and applying GD&T principles
- U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residency (ITAR compliance)
