Quality Engineer – AS9102 First Article Inspection

Verify, Inc. is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join their team and review and approve AS9102-compliant First Article Inspections (FAIs) for aerospace and defense customers. The role focuses on ensuring accuracy and completeness of inspections, compliance with industry standards, and collaboration with customers, suppliers, and internal teams. This is a full-time, on-going position requiring 40 hours per week.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in aerospace/defense, with 5+ years focused on FAIs.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Composites, Circuit Board assemblies, Machined parts, sheet metal, avionics, etc.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to spot discrepancies.
• Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (ASME/ASQ Y14.5).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
