Project Accountant

Vertex is currently accepting applications for a Project Accountant based in Sherwood Park, AB. The role supports the Projects Department by managing project financials for primarily tank and industrial cleaning projects.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, including 3+ years in cost or project accounting
• Degree in Accounting or relevant post-secondary education combined with related work experience
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, operational accounting, and financial analysis
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
