Job Description
Vertical Aerospace is seeking a Principal Actuation Systems Engineer to develop, integrate, and verify novel all-electric actuation systems for its eVTOL aircraft. The role involves defining technical requirements, ensuring quality control, managing system interfaces, and ensuring compliance with aerospace standards. They aim to redefine aerospace best practices.
Requirements
- Define and document technical requirements for novel all-electric actuation systems using Jama.
- Collaborate with external suppliers ensuring technical compliance.
- Critically assess supplier designs and verify evidence for aerospace standards.
- Oversee and verify installation of actuation systems.
- Identify and resolve technical risks.
- Produce high-quality technical documentation.
