Job Description
Vertical Aerospace is a rapidly growing company in advanced aviation, focused on producing electric, vertical takeoff and landing aircraft. They are seeking a Production Leader to oversee battery module and pack assembly processes in a manufacturing environment. The role requires operational excellence, safety, and quality standards, and collaboration across teams to meet production targets.
Requirements
- Proven experience in battery manufacturing, aerospace, or high-performance automotive environments.
- Strong leadership background with a track record of scaling up production.
- AS9100 knowledge or Lead Auditor certification preferred.
- Experience managing CAPEX/OPEX budgets and equipment procurement.
- Familiarity with lean tools (5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping).
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
