The Technical Inside Sales Engineer provides technical pre-sales support to targeted partners & national resellers for Vertiv integrated row solutions, including power conditioning and distribution units, and data center thermal management unit.
Requirements
- Provide technical pre-sales support between Vertiv and targeted resellers.
- Provide pre-sales quality technical application support to sales personnel and customers.
- Prepare and deliver solution-based product presentations, demos and evaluations that meet customer business requirements.
- Collaborate and communicate closely with Vertiv field sales teams supporting same opportunity.
- Review or generate the optimized Vertiv configuration to solve a specific national reseller opportunity set of application requirements.
- Assist in technical sales positioning on proposals considering specifications, competition, winning criteria (e.g. price or performance or efficiency or footprint).
- Provide technical sales support to targeted national resellers via training and presentations.
- Serve as escalation point for national resellers on basic technical pre-sales questions.
- Assist in defining technical pre-sales elements supporting marketing collateral.
- Provide pre-sale applications engineering support via phone, e-mail, and web to national resellers.
- Provide competitive evaluations to national resellers when appropriate.
