Job Description
The Veterans Leadership Program at Western and Central Pennsylvania is seeking a Veteran Housing Service Coordinator to provide comprehensive case management services to Veterans and their households in Johnstown and surrounding counties. This role focuses on navigating transitions in life, supporting Veterans, and assisting them with homelessness or housing crises. VLP serves over 7,000 Veterans annually and operates several successful programs.
Requirements
- Provide direct and comprehensive housing case management.
- Facilitate outreach and conduct tabling events.
- Complete SSAFSS and manage SSVF case file.
- Schedule monthly meetings and provide referrals.
- Collaborate with other resources.
- Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
- Adhere to VLP guidelines.
- Valid PA driver’s license and good driving record.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated sensitivity to workplace harmony and cultural contexts.
