We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated FULL TIME Veterinary Kennel Assistant to join our esteemed team at El Paso Animal Emergency Center. As a Veterinary Kennel Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent care and support to our animal patients and their owners.
Requirements
- Provide compassionate and attentive care to animals in the kennel, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary kennel environment by regularly cleaning and disinfecting cages, runs, and common areas.
- Safely and gently handle animals, following established protocols for restraint to ensure the safety of both animals and staff.
- Interact with pet owners in a professional and friendly manner, providing updates on their pets' well-being and addressing any questions or concerns.
- Assist with check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring a smooth experience for both clients and their pets.
- Maintain the overall cleanliness and organization of the clinic/hospital, including exam rooms, treatment areas, and public spaces.
