Job Description
Join our team at El Paso Animal Emergency Veterinary Referral Center as a compassionate and enthusiastic Veterinary Assistant/Technician. Assist with collecting and processing lab samples, performing in-house testing, monitoring anesthesia and surgical patients, and providing exceptional care to animal patients and a positive experience for our clients.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working with animals, preferably in a veterinary setting
- Strong animal handling skills and comfort working with a variety of species
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Attention to detail and ability to follow directions closely
- Basic understanding of veterinary medical terminology and procedures
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
