Job Description
The Certified Recovery Coach is part of the JP Recovery Center and supports individuals in recovery from substance use and homelessness. This role focuses on promoting a recovery-based approach with empathy, peer support, and access to community resources. The coach will work directly with individuals in paths to victory. The role requires identifying and addressing barriers to recovery, providing support for personal growth, and fostering connections within the recovery community.
Requirements
- Acceptance of substance use history
- Understanding and belief in the recovery process
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years sustained recovery experience
- Recovery Coach Academy completion
- Massachusetts driver's license (00, 98, 99, 01, 02, 03)
