Job Description
This position is for a Linen Technician responsible for stocking linen carts, delivering them to units, cleaning and classifying linen, loading/unloading laundry, and removing soiled linens. The role requires backing up coverage and assisting new co-workers.
Requirements
- Stocking clean linen carts with appropriate par levels
- Delivering clean linen carts to units/floors in a timely fashion
- Classifying clean linen
- Back-up coverage
- Assisting in training new co-workers
- Unloading Commercial Laundry carts
- Placing linen neatly on clean shelves
- Loading/unloading Commercial Laundry trucks
- Picking up soiled linen from units and loading carts for delivery
- Reading, writing, and understanding instructions
