Job Description
The Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery position focuses on providing direct and indirect patient care. This role involves overseeing assigned personnel, interpreting patient care plans, and exhibiting communication skills. The position requires a strong understanding of departmental and hospital policies. Experience is needed in acute care and BLS certification.
Requirements
- Bachelor's in Nursing
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse by Virginia Department of Health Professions (or Compact State License)
- BLS certification
- Current ACLS or PALS certification (ED, ICU, CVICU, Cardiac Cath Lab, Cardiopulmonary Rehab, Bronch Suite, Interventional Radiology, Radiology Safety Nurses, Step down Units, Pediatric Nurses, OR)
- Registered Nurses on designated units must maintain required certifications
- 1 year of Nursing/Patient Care experience in acute care
